All of these types of concrete production projects call for special attention to details that are out of the ordinary requirements for ready-mix trucks. Ready mix trucks have a certain distance/time that they can travel until they have a “hot load.” Also, if some detail is missed, it can be expensive to fix or have to fetch. The logistics of placing concrete in many of these types of remote areas is unique and requires extensive planning and communication; the key is precise planning.
In certain remote areas either the heavier equipment can’t reach the job site or the road to the job site is unable to handle the weight of the ready mix truck. In addition, many times there is a requirement for a unique concrete mix and with a volumetric concrete mixer making changes is easily handled by the Throop Company.
