Produced On-Site Concrete

For almost 40 years we have produced on-site Rapid Set concrete, Type II concrete, and specialty grouts

Produced On-Site Concrete

Volumetric, mixed on-site concrete offers several advantages over traditional ready-mix concrete. Mix on-site concrete produces fresh concrete, precise mixing, reduced waste, and cost savings. On-site mixing allows for adjustments to the concrete mix in real-time, making it ideal for projects with varying requirements or changing weather conditions. In addition, it minimizes waste as only the amount needed is produced, leading to lower disposal costs and a smaller environmental footprint. Whereas when ordering regular ready-mix, you not only pay for the concrete yardage you use but if you don’t use the entire load, you are charged for freight in both directions. In addition, special mix requirements during one project are easy changes with a volumetric mixer.

“The Volumetric Mixer is versatile and has been used in a variety of work…. The outstanding advantage of the unit is that it produces freshly mixed concrete. Therefore strengths and other properties are improved.”

Benefits of Volumetric Produced Concrete:

  1. Fresh Concrete & Optimal Quality:
    • Fresh concrete is particularly important for projects that require specific timing or are susceptible to weather-related changes.
    • Mixing ingredients on-site ensures the concrete is always fresh, maximizing its workability and strength.
  1. Precise Mixing & Waste Reduction:
    • Volumetric mixers produce concrete on-demand, allowing for precise control over batch sizes and mix designs. This eliminates the risk of over-ordering and the associated costs of wasted concrete and disposal.
    • The ability to adjust the mix in real-time, maybe for a different requirement at the same job site, also helps to optimize concrete performance for specific applications. For example, if you were doing flat work and then having to work on a slope or stairs, you can easily adjust the slump for the application you are performing.
  1. Cost Savings and Reduced Transportation:
    • On-site concrete production eliminates the need for transporting pre-mixed concrete, reducing fuel consumption and delivery fees. By producing only the amount needed, volumetric mixing avoids over-ordering and reduces waste, further saving money. The cost-effectiveness of volumetric mixing makes it a viable option for both large and small projects.
  1. Flexibility & Sustainability:
    • The ability to mix concrete on-site allows for quick adjustments to the concrete mix, accommodating changes in weather or project requirements. Reduced waste and transportation emissions contribute to a more sustainable construction process. Also, volumetric concrete mixing can also be beneficial for projects in remote locations or areas with limited access.
